Dale joined NewsChannel 7 in April 2007 as weekend sports anchor and reporter. He was named the station's sports director in May 2009.

Since joining the NewsChannel 7 sports department, Dale has been recognized for his work. He was nominated for an Emmy for his work on "The End of an Era," an online recap of Brett Favre's first retirement. He has also been recognized by the Associated Press for Best Sports Story and by the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association for Best Sportscast.

His career started at KSTF in Scottsbluff, NE as weekend sports anchor, eventually jumping across the street to KDUH to be their sports director. From there is was to WJFW in Rhinelander, then off to WQAD in the Quad Cities, and back to Wausau.

Dale is happy to be back in northcentral Wisconsin bringing you the area's best high school, Pointers, Badgers, Marquette, Brewers, Bucks and Packers coverage...and everything in between.

Dale, his wife, Suzy, and daughter Cadence live in Merrill.
