A Stevens Point native since 1993, Matt is thrilled to be able to cover the news in and around his hometown.

A member of SPASH's Class of 2003, Matt graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the summer of 2007 with a degree in Communication Arts, and almost immediately began working at WSAW afterward.

Matt got his start in August of 2007 interning with the station's Creative Services and Promotions Departments, and following stints in the Production Department and working as a News Videographer, Matt made the switch to on-camera, and began reporting in June of 2008.

In his spare time, Matt enjoys spending time with family and friends, heading to the movies, and listening to music.
