John joined the News Channel 7 family in September, 2008.

Born and raised in Michigan, he honed his skills mostly in the Great Lake State.

John's first job in television was as a photojournalist with WILX-TV in Lansing, Michigan, where he won several awards for his shooting and editing. He then made the jump to the "big-time", as a photojournalist with WDIV-TV in Detroit, Michigan. While there he covered, among other things, the downfall of the city's mayor, a Detroit Tigers World Series run and a Detroit Red Wings Stanley Cup Championship.

Since his arrival at News Channel 7, John has been an integral part of the newsroom as both the Chief Photographer and a Videojournalist. You can also see John as a fill-in anchor on news and sports broadcasts.

A Mid West guy through and through, John is happy to live, work and play in North Central Wisconsin.
