After 16 seasons as quarterback of the Green Bay Packers, Brett Favre is calling it a career.
Favre was acquired by the team in 1992 in a trade with the Atlanta Falcons. He went on to become the National Football League's first three-time Associated Press Most Valuable Player, and led the team to two Super Bowl appearances, including a victory over the New England Patriots in 1996. Favre holds nearly every NFL passing record, including touchdown passes (442), completions (5377), attempts (8758) and yards (61,655).
