Last year Wausau West stumbled out of the gates, losing their first four games. And their first two by a combined nine points. They still rallied late in the season to make the postseason.

This year the team hopes for a fast start.

The Warriors take on Antigo friday night. While the team doesn't have a lot of seniors on the roster, they say their biggest strength is the time they put in pumping iron in the offseason, building an attitude of hard work and team camaraderie.
