It's been 33 years since the SPASH Panthers have made it to state in football.
Now they're on their way back to Madison after taking down defending champs Milwaukee Marquette on Saturday.
Midway through the season it looked like it might be difficult to make it to Camp Randall after a week five loss to Wausau West that left the Panthers at 2-3. Since then they've rolled off eight straight wins. Despite those early season losses, the Panthers say they never stopped believing.
The Panthers will take on Waukesha West Friday at 4pm for the Division 1 state title.
