Marshfield's playoff run has ended one win shy of a trip to Madison. The Tigers lost Saturday to Cedarburg 35-21 in Level 4 of the WIAA football playoffs.
The Tigers trailed Cedarbrug 14-0 at the half, but stormed back to tie the game at 14. Cedarburg responded to take a 21-14 lead and went on for the win.
Marshfield ends the season, their first under head coach Denny Goettl at 8-4.
