Last year, Edgar's defense was impressive, 11 shutouts in 14 games, only 20 points allowed on the season.
They may top that this go around.
Thru the first 6 games, the defense hasn't allowed a single point. That's right, they're pitching the season-long shutout. On top of that, only once have the wildcats scored less than 49 points in a game. A lot of the offensive success is a result of that stifling defense.
The Stratford-Edgar showdown will go under the Spotilght on the Hilight Zone on Friday. The game received 56 percent of the online votes, a fine choice if i say so myself. The Wildcats shut out the Tigers 41-0 last year.
