The new leader of the Catholic Church in Milwaukee, who used to be in charge of the La Crosse Diocese, will begin his post on Monday.
The procession will start after 1 p.m. on Monday for Archbiship Jerome Listecki.
Political analysts say he has been more outspoken on political issues than his predecessor Timothy Dolan, who is now the archbishop in New York.
Some of those include criticism of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for her views on the Catholic Church, and Notre Dame's decision to have President Barack Obama speak at the school.
The 60-year-old Chicago native takes over as the leader of more than a half-a-million parishioners and more than 200 churches in southeastern Wisconsin.
