It's the 35th running of the American Birkebeiner cross-country ski races in northern Wisconsin Saturday. The 51-kilometer Birkebeiner and the new 53-K Classic Birkie begin at 8:20 a.m. Saturday. The 23K Kortelopet Freestyle starts at 8:30.
