Wisconsin sophomore forward Nic Kerdiles Is the newest Badger to sign an NHL contract.
Kerdiles has given up his final two years of eligibility to sign a 3-year deal with the Anaheim Ducks, who drafted Kerdiles in 2012 with the 36th overall pick.
A 2014 second team all-Big Ten selection, Kerdiles leaves UW as one of the most prolific scorers in Badger history.
In just two years, Kerdiles has racked up 26 goals, 45 assists and 71 points in 60 games for Bucky.
His 1.18 points per game career scoring average is second only to San Jose Shark's star Joe Pavelski during the Mike Eave's coaching era.
