The Milwaukee Bucks and coach Scott Skiles have agreed to part ways effective immediately, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Skiles was in the final year of his contract. Assistant Jim Boylan will take over on an interim basis. Boylan also took over for Skiles at the end of his tenure in Chicago and coached the final 56 games in the 07-08 season.
Milwaukee made the playoffs just once in Skiles' tenure and had a record of 162-182.
The Bucks are in the midst of a 4-game losing streak, dropping to 16-16. They're home Tuesday night against the Phoenix Suns.
