SPASH's Hauser Named NC7 Girls Basketball COY

It's awards week here at NewsChannel 7.

This week we'll put the finishing touches on the high school basketball season.

We started this morning when we made a surprise visit to JFK Elementary School in Junction City.

In his 5th year at SPASH, Dave Hauser has the girls program on top once again.

Hauser coached the Panthers to their first Valley Conference title in 6 years, and the 21 wins this season were the most in 11 years.

Like any great coach, he'd be the first to tell you he doesn't get this without the success of his team.

On Tuesday we'll unveil the 2012 NewsChannel 7 Boys Basketball All-Stars. Wednesday, the Girls All-Stars will be announced. And on Thursday we'll introduce you to the NC7 Boys Basketball Coach of the Year.

**The boys & girls Coach of the Year awards, and the boys & girls All-Star teams are voted on by coaches across northcentral Wisconsin.**
