SPASH Grad and San Jose Shark Pavelski Sustains Leg Injury

SPASH graduate and current San Jose Shark Joe Pavelski has sustained a leg injury during his play in the KHL.

The good news is the injury is reportedly minor and shouldn't keep him out of the lineup by the end of the month. Pavelski appeared in all 82 games for the Sharks last season. Pavelski has struggled through foot and leg injuries throughout his career, most notably missing 15 games with a foot injury early in the 2009-10 season.

With the NHL still in a lockout this should not effect Pavelski's NHL season if/when they start playing.
