A record 346 teams have signed up to participate in 8th Annual USA Hockey/ Labatt Blue Pond Hockey National Championships. Registration is now sold out.
According to a press release from the Eagle River Chamber of Commerce, the tournament has seen tremendous growth in the last eight years. They say in the first year 40 teams participated.
The Eagle River Volunteer Fire Department will build and maintain all of the 28 ice rinks on Dollar Lake.
The event will be held February 8-10. The will be 18 non-check divisions.
