The Rapids Rafters have improved greatly in 2012. In the first half of the season, they won 16 games, twice as many as a year ago.
With a lineup anchored by All-Stars Pat Kelly and Alex Bacon, the Rafters aim to make the postseason in the second half of the season.
Kelly says, "It's the only goal for us. Play meaningful games, try to make the postseason, and win a championship.
Bacon agrees, adding, "Where I come from, we get fifty or sixty fans per game. So, to get thousands every game, it really makes you want to perform well."
The Rafters are currently 4 1/2 games back of first place in the South Division.
