Pointers Prep for Sweet 16

For the first time since 2010, the Pointer men are off to the Sweet 16. With all five starters scoring double digits, the Pointers topped Central Iowa 76-71 Saturday night. Power center Clayton Heuer scoring a career best 24 points.

All season long the Pointers have faced plenty of ranked opponents, challenging them both at home and on the road. Playing a tough schedule not only challenged UWSP, it helped them prepare for what they might face as they continue to make their tournament run.
