The Eagles held a 20-14 advantage midway through the first half, but a three-pointer by Ritchay sparked an 18-2 run and UWSP (9-0) took a 34-27 lead into the half.

The Pointer lead was cut to just four at 41-37 less than six minutes into the second half before UWSP pieced together a 14-2 run that was capped off by an offensive rebound and put-back by Alex Richard (Spring Green, WI/River Valley).

Ritchay shot 11-for-16 from the floor and a perfect 3-for-3 from behind the arc.

The UWSP defense held Edgewood (2-8) to just 34.5 percent shooting for the game and 31 percent in the second half.

The Pointers committed a season-low three turnovers.

UWSP travels to St. Paul, Minn. on Friday, Dec. 21 for a 7:30 p.m. tipoff against No. 5-ranked St. Thomas.
