The Packers draft picks rolled into the Don Hutson Center Friday to don the green and gold for the first time in the Packs rookie mini camp.
The newest members of the Packers got settled into their new practice digs at practice, received their playbooks, and entered a new chapter in their life as a professional football player.
First rounder Datone Jones, second rounder Eddie Lacy and fourth rounder Johnathan Franklin are soaking in their first tastes of Packer glory, and loving every minute of day one at their new jobs.
"It's definately a dream come true, I really can't wait to play with my teammates. Learn all my plays, get my book and go hard in practice," said Jones.
"This is my second day and it still hasn't hit me yet. I'm excited, first practice today (Friday), looking forward to that, it's all just excitement right now," said Lacy.
"I'm meeting guys on the team, it's been amazing, just the rookies that they brought in, very sociable, so excited, can't wait to play this great game," said Franklin.
The Packers will continue rookie camp through the weekend. OTA's are scheduled for May 21, May 28 and June 11.
