Medford's Hemer Entrenched On Badgers' D-line

Not long after the Rose Bowl, the Badgers handed out a couple of scholarships to some of their more valuable walk-on's.

Medford's Ethan Hemer was one of them.

Since the 2010 season, the former NewsChannel 7 All-Star has played in all 27 Badger games, starting the last 20 at defensive tackle.

He's firmly entrenched in that starting role as the new season approaches.

Hard to believe he's one of the veterans now, a long way since he redshirted in 2009 as a walk-on.
