Pacelli High School mourns the loss of legendary football coach Bob Raczek, who died on Sunday afternoon at age 75 after a long bout with prostate cancer.
In fifty seasons as a head football coach, 46 of those with Pacelli after four at Tri-County, Raczek compiled 360 wins, which ranks second on the state's all-time career coaching win list.
He led the cardinals to nine state football appearances, including to two WISAA state titles in 1986 & 1995, as well as one WIAA state championship in 2005.
His 527 games coached are the most all-time
While at Pacelli, Raczek also won 15 conference Championships and owns a 42-26 playoff record.
