A paint store in Stevens Point, Wisconsin is probably the last place you'd expect to find a San Francisco 49er's fan. After all, they beat the Packers TWICE this season.
But this paint store owner happens to be the brother of Trent Baalke the Niners general Manager.
"The family is very proud of him, everyone is proud. It's a high achievement, the highest achievement you can get for the position he holds." said Design Inspiration's owner Troy Baalke.
Troy will have to opportunity to watch his brother's chance to etch his name into Super Bowl history first hand.
"Going down with me Dad and my Son, three generations will be going to watch him. We're very proud and excited."
Troy isn't the only local guy who will be looking to paint the town scarlet red and gold come Sunday.
Bill Schumacher is the second cousin of the Niner's starting quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who has roots all over the Badger State.
"At the family reunion I remember hitting gold balls with him into the Wolf River, just south of the New London." reminisced Schumacher.
And since the day Kaepernick got the nod for the starting signal caller job this family has grown closer than ever.
"It's been tremendous. It gives us opportunity to grow closer and share pictures and memories."
And you don't have to twist the arms of these two guys to figure out who they think is going to win the big game.
"49ers by 11....31 to 20" said Baalke
"45 to 20...something like that." added Schumacher.
We'll find out if they're right Sunday right here on NewsChannel 7.
