Wisconsin Rapids native Clayton Heuer is a big reason the Pointer men's basketball team is off to a 6-0 start in the WIAC, 13-2 overall.
Heuer is putting up eleven points and four boards per game, while shooting better than 60 percent from the field and above eighty percent at the free throw line.
Coach Bob Semling said that when Heuer transferred last spring from UW-Green Bay, it immediately put the Pointers in a position to be a contender.
