When the Cleveland Browns selected former Badger Joe Thomas with the third overall pick in the 2007 draft, they figured he'd anchor their offensive line for years to come.
Thomas has certainly delivered on those expectations, and then some.
The left tackle has started every game of his career, has made the pro-bowl each of his six seasons, and is a three-time first team All-Pro.
Thomas says he likes where where the Browns are headed entering his seventh season in the league.
"I think we've made a lot of additions. A lot of good young players on the team. We've got a great coaching staff right now," said Thomas.
Thomas admits it takes time for a team to be successful in the NFL.
"It's just a matter of putting it together. I think the great part about the NFL, every team is on the cusp, every team is right there, so it doesn't take more than a couple players to put you over that edge," said Thomas.
