Former U.S. Wrestling Olympian Ken Chertow is visiting Marshfield this week, conducting his annual Gold Medal Training camp for young wreslters from across Wisconsin.
The three-time NCAA all-american has coached wrestling the past 20 years, including coaching Ohio State and Penn State wrestling.
Local wreslters are enjoying the opportunity to learn from Chertow.
"It's pretty cool someone who was in the olympics helping us out," said Wyatt Weiler, Junior, Auburndale.
Chertow loves coaching young wrestlers, showing them the best ways to succeed.
"One of our slogans in camp is intensity, that's what it takes to be a champion. I teach kids how to train consistently and intensely," said Chertow.
