D.C. Everest Names LeeAnn Kitchell Interim Athletic Director
The D.C. Everest School district has announced Mrs. LeeAnn Kitchell has accepted the position of interim athletic director for the 2010-2011 school year.
She graduated from Western Illinois University, running track and playing basketball there.
She taught at Marian College, as well as teaching and coaching volleyball, basketball and track in Beardstown, Illinois.
She is an alumnus of D.C. Everest and still holds the state track and field triple jump record.
She is a member of both the D.C. Everest Athletic Hall of Fame as well as the Wisconsin State Track and Field Hall of Fame.
