DC Everest grad Konrad Zagzebski, a redshirt sophomore, will make his first career start for the Badgers this Saturday at Nebraska in place of David Gilbert.
Gilbert will not start because he made some negative comments about Huskers QB Taylor Martinez and struggles throwing the ball.
Gilbert will likely only miss the Huskers' first offensive play, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Last week, Zagzebski earned some extensive playing time against UTEP. He blocked the extra point that led to Devin Smith's return for a safety and registered one QB hit.
