Brewers Pitching Stumbles to Dead Last In NL

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- There were plenty of questions about the Milwaukee Brewers' starting rotation as the season approached.
Veterans Zack Greinke, Shaun Marcum and Randy Wolf were gone. In the rotation were veteran Yovani Gallardo, young Chris Narveson and Marco Estrada, and a handful of prospects.
Many predicted the build-from-within approach would go poorly for the Brewers, but not many expected things to be this bad.
Through the first 62 games, Milwaukee's starters rank last in the National League with a 5.29 ERA, lead the league in earned runs and have thrown 360 innings. Only Pittsburgh and the New York Mets have thrown fewer innings in the NL.
