Basketball awards week was brought to a conclusion today with the presentation of the NewsChannel 7 Boys Basketball Coach of the Year.

With the basketball team leading the way for us, we ambushed the 4th grade class at Auburndale elementary.
For a 2nd year in a row, Auburndale's Chad Weinfurter was tabbed the Boys Coach of the Year by our panel of coaches.
The Apaches won 22 games and a 14-0 Marawood South Conference title. A disappointing loss in the regional final to Amherst brought their season to an end prematurely.
