Today, we announced the boys Coach of the Year. Someone that's had to fill the shoes of a legend.
In his third season since taking over for hall of famer Tim Anderson, Chad Weinfurter led the Apaches to a share of the Marawood South championship that included a victory over eventual D4 state champion Marathon.
The team was ranked in the top ten all year. Overall they finished with a 20-3 record. And players say it couldn't be done without the guy on the bench.
