Anderson Twins Are Auburndale's Biggest Fans

You won't find two bigger Apaches fans than Jordan and Jared Anderson. A set of ten year-old twins with cerebral palsy whose knowledge and love of the game outweighs any handicap.

"We mostly come to every game and we cheer loud" Said Jared
"We talk about the game up ahead and who's going to be the top scorer, stuff like that" added Jordan.

And their connections with this seasons team go beyond the court.
"I'm their classroom teacher and Blake is their cousin. They are really involved and know their stuff" Said Auburndale head coach Chad Weinfurter.

"It means a lot especially if we are down playing in the game and those two have hope that we can come back," said Jared and Jordan's cousin, and Apaches junior Blake Anderson.

The Anderson family plans to go as far as the Apaches do this season. The family has already booked their hotel rooms for the state tournament and these boys know exactly what needs to happen for Auburndale to get there.

"A lot of toughness and hard work!' said Jared .

"They need to rebound better" said Jordan.

Auburndale begins their post season run Friday when they host Stratford. And when the final horn sounds no matter what the outcome is you can guarantee these twins will be the first to greet their team with high fives and their infectious smiles.
