GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- The Green Bay Packers have added wide receiver Onrea Jones and guard Chris Patrick to the practice squad.
General manager Ted Thompson says the team also released quarterback Dalton Bell from the practice squad.
The 5'11, 201-pound Jones caught 96 passes for 1,359 yards and seven touchdowns in his collegiate career at Hampton.
He signed with Houston as a non-drafted free agent in May and was released in August, then was with the San Diego Chargers until being cut in the final roster reduction.
Patrick, a three-year letterman with Nebraska, signed as a non-drafted free agent with the New York Giants in July and was released in August.
Claimed on waivers by the New England Patriots, he was released in their final cuts.
