MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Ben Sheets will open the Brewers weekend series against the Cincinnati Reds tonight at Miller Park.
The righthander is 2-0 since returning from an injury.
The second-place Brewers are headed down the home stretch - 17 games in 17 days.
Since Sheets has returned and eased some of the pressure, the starting rotation has been mainly solid.
Jeff Supppan will pitch tomorrow night.
Suppan says if the starting rotation can just keep it close and have some shutdown innings, that lets the offense drive in some runs and good things happen.
