MILWAUKEE (AP) -- If the Brewers think they're the best team the N.L. Central, they'll get a chance to prove it this week when they face the division-leading Cubs.
But first they get a day of rest before the series gets under way tomorrow.
At one point in the season the Brewers were 14 games over .500.
But after losing four in a row, they've dropped back down to the .500 mark.
Manager Ned Yost is at a loss of words to explain his team's decline.
He says the only thing he has to say is that the teams needs to find ways to be better.
The Cubs series marks the last time the rivals will meet in the regular season.
