GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- Tonight's game could help the Green Bay Packers decide whether to keep two or three quarterbacks for the season.
National Football League teams have been going with two quarterbacks on the roster But the Packers haven't gone into a season with fewer than three quarterbacks since 1989.
The Packers take on the Jacksonville Jaguars tonight in an exhibition game at Lambeau Field.
Besides Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers, Ingle Martin or Paul Thompson are fighting for a roster spot.
Martin, who played one series in Pittsburgh, is scheduled to play the fourth quarter.
Thompson, who played one series in Pittsburgh and four against Seattle, probably won't play.
Offensive coordinator Joe Philbin says tonight's game will be important.
