GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- The Green Bay Packers say they've signed fullback Erryn Cobb and released safety Marviel Underwood.
Cobb is a rookie free agent from Northwestern, where he began his career as a linebacker before moving to fullback in 2004.
He was the Wildcats' starting tight end in 2005 and played a combination of tight end and fullback last year.
Underwood was one of the Packers' fourth-round picks in the 2005 National Football League draft.
He played in 16 career games for Green Bay.
