MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Milwaukee Bucks guard Michael Redd is to be part of the United States team in the FIBA America's Championship tournament, a pre-Olympic qualifying tournament.
The U.S. roster also includes Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Amare Stoudemire, Dwight Howard, Jason Kidd, Chauncey Billups, Mike Miller, Tyson Chandler, Tayshaun Prince and Deron Williams.
The tournament is one of five Olympic qualifying zone tournaments and will determine two men's teams from the Americas zone who will earn a qualification spot for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China.
It is scheduled tomorrow through September 2 in Las Vegas.
