'Frustrated' Favre Seeks Offensive Gains for Packers

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) - Brett Favre well remembers what it was like to direct an unstoppable Green Bay Packers offense.

For example, the Packers scored touchdowns on five straight possessions en route to a 35-13 rout of Seattle at Lambeau Field in the 2003 regular season.

Favre says that's when the team had been together for a while and could do things virtually blindfolded.

Fast forward to last weekend and it's a whole different picture.

The Packers' inexperienced offense did nothing right in an exhibition game at Pittsburgh with Favre at the helm.

Backup Aaron Rodgers later led the Packers to a 13-9 win.

Favre says building chemistry and improving on offense is a top goal heading into Saturday's preseason game with Seattle, at Lambeau Field.
