MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Just like 25 years ago, the St. Louis Cardinals did their best to spoil the party for the Milwaukee Brewers.
Back in 1982, the Cardinals beat the Brewers in a seven-game World Series.
Last night, the Brewers held a reunion for that year's team, and the Cardinals proceeded to put a damper on things by knocking out 19 hits in a 12-4 victory over the current Brewers team.
Brewers pitcher Chris Capuano got tagged for a six-run fifth inning rally and now has gone 15 starts without a victory.
That includes five no-decisions and 10 losses as his record slipped to 5-10.
Manager Ned Yost says the team might consider taking Capuano out of the starting rotation.
