We're wrapping up the High School Basketballseason here at NewsChannel 7.
With the help of the school's athletic director and the team, I was able to surprise this year's recipient of the NewsChannel 7 Girls Basketball Coach of the Year.
What was supposed to be a down year according to some outside of the program, all the Marshfield Tigers did under Heidi Michaelis was win the Valley Conference with a perfect 12-0 mark, another regional title and 21 wins.
This is award #4 for her, she also was voted Coach of the year by her Northcentral Wisconsin peers in 2004, 2005 and 2006.
On Friday, we'll unveil the NewsChannel 7 Boys Coach of the Year.
