BOSTON (AP) -- The Boston Celtics are interested in Milwaukee Bucks guard Charlie Bell, a restricted free agent.
Bell's agent, Mark Bartelstein, says he's talked with the Celtics, who are looking for the right players to fit around Kevin Garnett.
The Celtics landed the power forward in a trade with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The Bucks would have the right to match any offer for Bell.
Bucks general manager Larry Harris says he hopes to retain the former Michigan State star.
Bell has been a valuable backup and part-time starter for the Bucks during the past two seasons.
