MILWAUKEE (AP) -- A conversation with pitching coach Mike Maddux helped Dave Bush remember what makes him a special pitcher.

When Bush and Maddux talked two months ago, they agreed to let Bush go back to what worked for him in the past.
Bush led the staff with 12 wins last year, but ran into problems in the early season, slipping to a 3-5 record by late May.
He says the talk with Maddux and some minor adjustments have made all the difference.
He hasn't allowed more than four runs in any of his last eight starts and now has a record of 8-7.
