MILWAUKEE (AP) -- The Brewers' second straight one-run win has given them the series win over the Rockies.
Pinch-hitter Kevin Mench's tiebreaking RBI triple in the seventh lifted Milwaukee to a 4-3 victory over Colorado yesterday.
Mench scored on a wild pitch to make it 4-2 for the Brewers.
The Brewers scored twice in the seventh off reliever Jeremy Affeldt to break a 2-2 tie.
Geoff Jenkins led off with a double.
Mench entered as a pinch-hitterfor Gabe Gross.
He lined a ball into the right-field corner for the triple, his second of the season.
Mench scored on Affeldt's wild pitch to pinch hitter J.J. Hardy.
Milwaukee's Matt Wise pitched one scoreless inning in relief of Jeff Suppan and got the win.
Wise improves to 3-1.
Colorado had won six of eight but have fallen to one game under .500.
