MILWAUKEE (AP) -- It might have been the first time there's ever been a soap opera playing in a major league clubhouse.
But, before today's matinee at Miller Park, there they were - the Brewers, huddled around big screen TVs watching "The Young and the Restless."
They were watching the acting debuts of shortstop J.J. Hardy, centerfielder Bill Hall and pitchers Chris Capuano and Jeff Suppan on the top-rated CBS soap opera.
And, it resulted in some good-natured teasing.
In one scene, actress Michelle Stafford, playing Phyllis Newman, gushes over the Brewers players.
The TV show is set in Wisconsin.
J.J. Hardy's line is getting him the most razzing.
When she leaves the room, Hardy says "she can warm up with me anytime."
Hardy says watching the scene was a lot worse than watching himself during baseball highlights.
