It was not the Abbotsford Falcons' day as they lost the Division 4 state championship to Johnson Creek.
Johnson Creek jumped out to a 1-0 lead and would never look back.
Abbotsford tied the game 1-1 in the bottom of the first on a throwing error.
Johnson Creek made it 5-1 after four innings and would go on to win 10-4.
It was Larry Soyk's last game as coach of Abbotsford.
