ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) -- Everyone except Geoff Jenkins was getting hits - until the end.
Jenkins hit a three-run homer in the 12th inning and the Milwaukee Brewers stopped a three-game losing streak, beating the Texas Rangers 9-6 last night.
Jenkins was hitless in his first five at-bats before connecting against Willie Eyre for his 11th home run of the season.
Eyre had been the Rangers' most dependable reliever, pitching 16 2/3 innings without allowing an earned run.
But Jenkins did not let him get away with a slider that was up and over the plate.
Prince Fielder connected for his National League-leading 23rd home run and Johnny Estrada and Tony Graffanino each had four hits.
