MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Milwaukee Brewers manager Ned Yost says even the team's month-long slide has a purpose.
Yost says the team that went 24-10 to open the season is the same team that dropped 19 of 29 recently.
He says they'll be a better team for having survived the recent slump.
A philosophical Yost says baseball will humble you in a heartbeat, develop you and make you a winner.
It can expose you if you're a loser and has a way of testing you.
He predicts the Brewers will bounce back.
He says it's all part of the process.
