MILWAUKEE (AP) -- The Brewers send Claudio Vargas to the mound tonight against the Chicago Cubs, a team against which he's had little success.
Vargas is 0-2 with a 9.00 ERA in six appearances.
Last night at Miller Park, the Cubs and Brewers stayed close until the seventh inning when Chicago generated five runs and pulled away for a 7-2 win.
Brewers starter Dave Bush gave up four runs on seven hits in six-plus innings.
