MILWAUKEE (AP) -- The Milwaukee Mile is back in what once was a familiar position as host to an IndyCar Series race the weekend after the Indianapolis 500.
Sam Hornish, Junior, is one driver who welcomes the return to track in the middle of the Wisconsin State Fair grounds.
Hornish's mother grew up in Milwaukee and later brought him back to sit in the grandstand as a child.
He expects to have his own cheering section for Sunday's race.
A group of fans from near his hometown of Defiance, Ohio makes a big bus trip to the Milwaukee race every year.
Hornish is coming off a fourth-place finish at Indy.
