MILWAUKEE (AP) -- The Milwaukee Brewers reached the two (M) million mark in ticket sales today.
Attendance at Miller Park is running 31 percent ahead of last year.
In fact, the Brewers say it took until July 5 last year to reach two million in ticket sales.
It's the second-fastest climb to the milestone in team history.
Only the 2001 inaugural year at Miller Park brought the Brewers to the two million mark faster (April 19).
Through 24 home games, the Brewers average attendance is about 31,000, compared to about 24,000 in 2006.
The Brewers have already had seven sellouts in 2007.
